Cottage
The cottage home is a retreat. Walking into my cottage/coastal home provides a sophisticated, simplistic, comfortable style. The use of lots of white and off white, linen, burlap fabrics, grain sack pillow covers, furniture from France, vintage doors and windows used as art or transformed into furniture and my own personal photographs of nature are among some of the items you will find in my cottage retreat. I love making a kitchen designed to look old. I am in the process of renovating one now and using brick floors, old pieces of furniture as cabinets, vintage lighting and a piece of my own artwork that will catch everyone’s attention. A bowl full of bright lemons is just enough to finish the look.
